About Us Experienced and Professional Don Harris is an experienced family lawyer based in Helena, Montana. He has been admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Montana since 2002. After graduating from the University of Montana School of Law, Don has spent his entire legal career in Montana, practicing primarily in Broadwater, Butte/Silver Bow, Cascade, Galatin, Jefferson, Lewis and Clark, Meagher, Missoula, and Powell Counties. Background Before becoming a lawyer, Don graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University with a degree in landscape architecture. After graduation, he hiked extensive sections of the Appalachian Trail for a summer, before settling in North Carolina for four years. Don’s love of the outdoors led him to Montana, where he enjoys backpacking, climbing, fishing, hiking, hunting, mountain biking, and skiing. Family In 2004, Don married the former Jennifer Adams, an active outdoorswoman, proud parent, and business and community leader. Together, they have received many blessings, none greater than their blended family, consisting of three wonderful children of two marriages.
